Abstract

Notes on two minor excavations by members of the Edinburgh Archaeological Society. At Castle Law, an investigation into a rampart discovered on this site in 1932 revealed more about its composition. The authors argue that the fort at Craig's Quarry should be dated to the 1st century AD based on the finds made at this site and the character of the excavated wall.
