Abstract

A re-examination of three Roman hoards that were originally analysed by James Curle in the 1930’s. It is noted that although each hoard contains both Roman and native items, the majority of the finds are related to farming and not warfare. The article concludes with a catalogue of all the finds from each hoard and comparative analysis with similar finds.
