Abstract

Reports on the excavation of some of the Clava type cairns in Inverness-shire: a passage grave chambered cairn, two ring cairns and a small stone circle. In the conclusion, it is suggested that rather than these sites representing a chronology of burial practices, they may have been used concurrently.
