Abstract

The excavation of a double palisade enclosure near Roxburgh in 1949 uncovered three Iron Age huts. This report describes the excavation process and the layout of the site, as well as the finds made during the excavation. The authors then offer some suggestions regarding the lifestyle of the people living in these huts, although the construction and purpose of the double palisade remains unclear.
