Abstract


A description of the Castle of Craig in Aberdeenshire highlighting the original features and remaining heraldic shields. The author discusses the Gordon family who owned Castle of Craig, focusing  on members of the family associated with the different phases of the castle’s construction. Some other historical and archaeological features of the surrounding landscape are referenced and the author concludes by describing some of the architectural features of the nearby St Mary's church.
