Abstract

Dr. Daniel Wilson described the excavations he undertook at the Roman Camp on Harburn Estate. He and the workmen found numerous remains of weapons, amphorae, and a lead vessel. Even after so much time the camp, called Castle Greg, was in good condition, with fortifying wall standing on three sides. Finds from other Roman sites in Scotland were exhibited at the same time.
