Abstract


The usual business was conducted at the Anniversary meeting, including the election of new Fellows and the presentation of a list of deceased Fellows. Other reports presented included:
A report on the number of Fellows on the Society’s Roll
A report on the progress of the Society’s forthcoming publications
A report on the renovations to the Society’s museum and library, as well as the items added to the collections over the previous session
Reports into excavations undertaken by the Society during the previous session
A note on the Rhind Lectureship from the previous session
Transcriptions of two letters that the Council sent in response to the outbreak of the First World War: the first to the American Ambassador in London and the second to the President of the Société national des Antiquaires de France.
The Treasurer presented the Annual Report on the Society’s finances
