Abstract

At the anniversary meeting new Fellows were elected and the Countess of Selkirk was nominated as a Lady Associate. Brief obituaries for some deceased Fellows were then read. The Annual report was presented detailing the number of visitors to the museum and the artefacts added to the Society's collections.

 

Meeting notes for 10 December, 1888 are appended. Descriptions and illustrations of the Lewis Chessmen are included in the notes of purchases.
