Abstract

A record of the author’s visit to Cladh a Bhile in Knapdale in 1875. The article begins with a brief outline of the geographical features and the toponymy of the area before focusing on the decoration of several incised stones that were found on the site. It concludes by comparing these stones to similar examples from Scotland and Ireland.
