Note of Excavations in Sanday, one of the North Isles of Orkney

Abstract

This article a description of the dimensions and construction of a chambered cairn that was excavated in Orkney, as well as the items that were found on the site including some human remains. The author suggests that the site may have originally had another purpose before it was converted into a burial place.
