Abstract

The Chair of the meeting used the Anniversary address to discuss the role of antiquaries in the study of the past and to acknowledge the contributions of some of the Society's members to the museum and library. He also emphasised the need for a more suitable location for the Society's collections so that they could be better displayed for the public.
