Abstract

Several gold armillae were unearthed on a farm near Elgin, but most were lost or stolen before they could be recovered by the minister of the parish. The author discusses the barrow and cist that were also located on this farm, then goes on to discuss other gravesites and artefacts discovered nearby. He concludes by making some comments about what the landscape can tell us about the geography of this area in the distant past.
