Abstract

Finds from the excavation of several cists found near Yarrow in the Scottish Borders were exhibited. A standing stone found nearby that was inscribed with illegible Latin text is also described. The author quotes a letter he received from the local parish Reverend that details his thoughts on the stone's purpose and age. The article ends with the author's belief that more study is required before any conclusions can be drawn.
