Abstract


This article discusses the boundary line of 'the land of Burgyn' that was granted to the Monks of Kinloss Abbey by Alexander II. The author describes the perambulated boundary and attempts to relate the notable landmarks with their modern names. There is also some discussion of translated terms from the original document.
