Free Digital Books platform – now available

The Society of Antiquaries of Scotland has launched a new online platform to make peer-reviewed academic books about Scottish archaeology and history freely available.

A complete PDF ebooks as well as individual chapters are available to download free of charge from http://books.socantscot.org/digital-books. The first two titles available are Portmahomack on Tarbat Ness (Carver et al., 2016) and The Scottish Antiquarian Tradition (Bell, 1981).

The Society is planning to include several more out-of-print titles shortly, all under a CC-BY-NC licence.
