New SAIR website launched!

29-11-2018

The Society is delighted to announce the launch of a new website for SAIR, hosted by the University of Edinburgh Library.

SAIR has been published by the Society since 2001, and now comprises 80 Open Access reports on significant excavations around Scotland. This new website will offer a new, user-friendly interface to access SAIR while all papers will continue to be archived at the Archaeology Data Service, a Trusted Digital Repository, for long-term preservation.

The latest papers to be added to the SAIR archive include:

'Excavations by Gogar Church, Nether Gogar, Edinburgh' SAIR 79 by Heather James and Bob Will

'A Bronze Age barrow cemetery and a medieval enclosure at Orchardfield, East Linton, East Lothian' SAIR 80 by Magnus Kirby

Keep an eye on this website for our forthcoming papers! Coming up over the next few months are papers including:

'Excavation of a Double-Ditched Enclosure at Winchburgh, West Lothian' SAIR 81 by Gary Savory

'Siller Holes, West Linton: a medieval lead mining site' SAIR 82 by Valerie E Dean
